Halstead Town Reserves won the 2022/23 Chell Trophy by beating Framlingham Town Reserves at Millfield, home of Hadleigh United.

Framlingham took the lead just before half-time, only for Halstead to equalise just after the interval. The final eventually went to a penalty shoot out, won 5-4 by the Essex team.
