Histon go 10 points clear at the top of the Premier Division after winning 2-0 at Haverhill Rovers this afternoon. Bottom side Framlingham Town came from a half time deficit to beat second from bottom Great Yarmouth Town 2-1 and complete a double over the Bloaters. Ely City remain in trouble just above Yarmouth after crashing 6-1 at home to Norwich United.
First Division North saw the biggest away victory in the the Eastern Counties League’s 84 year history, with Lakenheath winning 15-0 at bottom side Wisbech St Mary. The scoreline also equalled the biggest ever win in First Division history. Kelvin Enaro and Shaun Avis both scored five.
First Division South leaders Hashtag United left it late to take the lead over bottom side Fire United but eventually ran out 3-0 winners and now lead the table by 6 points with Halstead Town moving into second place after beating Holland 5-1.
