Lakenheath staged their first ever match under floodlights last night with their First Division North fixture against Fakenham Town attracting a crowd of 313.

Unfortunately for the home side their historic night was rather spoilt by Fakenham who left with a 2-1 victory. Callum Brain scored twice in the first half for the Norfolk side and a late own goal was not enough to rescue anything for the hosts.

Credit though to Fakenham who had agreed to move the match from the Saturday afternoon and now currently sit in third place in the First Division North table.
