Frenford Clubs was founded in 1928 by Jack Carter, originally as a boys club. By 1930 it had grown into a sports and social club and during the war years Frenford Football Club was started. In the early years Frenford FC were playing in the local football leagues in Ilford and included teams from the age of 11 to adults. We now run a number of adult teams who play in The Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League, The Essex Senior League Reserve Division, The Essex Alliance League, The Essex Veterans League and the Essex Sunday Corinthian League. On the field the club has enjoyed many successful seasons in the leagues in which they have played and are now one of the most well known clubs in the area.
