The FA Vase returns on Saturday 15th January with three Thurlow Nunn League sides remaining in the competition. All good fortune to each of them.
Both Lakenheath and Fakenham Town travel to teams near the top of the United Counties League South. Lakenheath are off to Rugby Town while Fakenham go to Newport Pagnell Town, victors at Whittlesey Athletic in the last round.
Former Vase finalists Wroxham will not be playing their tie until Saturday 22nd January. Their original opponents, last season’s semi-finalists Walsall Wood, have been removed from the competition after being found guilty of fielding an ineligible player. Instead Wroxham are now scheduled to play Leicestershire side Anstey Nomads, currently third in United Counties South.
