Today in the Thurlow Nunn League

Kirkley & Pakefield retained top spot in the Premier Division with Cameron Russell scoring two late goals to complete his hat trick in the 3-3 home draw with Stanway Rovers. On Tuesday evening the Royals visit Wroxham, up to second and with the only 100% record in the division. It took an injury time winner for the Yachtsmen to beat visiting Walsham le Willows 2-1 and maintain that record.

Lakenheath are romping ahead in First Division North and made it 5 wins out of 5 by beating Great Yarmouth Town 4-0. Ryan Weaver scored two of the home side’s goals. Fakenham Town and Ipswich Wanderers both lost their 100% records when the two sides drew 1-1 at Clipbush Park.

The top two clashed in First Division South and it was visiting Athletic Newham who came out on top with a 3-1 success at Little Oakley. Frenford are now up to third after beating Coggeshall United 4-0 at The Drive and will go top with one point from Monday evening’s home match with Barkingside.
