Five Thurlow Nunn League matches survived the weather on Saturday and well done to all those that braved the elements.
The sole Premier Division match played was at Brantham Athletic where the home side won their 6th match in the last 7 in beating FC Clacton 3-0. Lakenheath overcame King’s Lynn Town Reserves 4-0 in the only match played in First Division North and consolidated their second place in the table.
White Ensign won their 10th league match in succession and went 7 points clear at the top of First Division South with an impressive 4-1 success at Hackney Wick. Connor Barnby netted a hat trick. At the bottom Fire United secured just their third point of the season with a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw at Wormley Rovers, while Harwich & Parkeston beat Wivenhoe Town 2-0 in a Tendring derby.
