FA Vase Third Round Proper Draw

The draw for the Third Round of the FA Vase has thrown up a cracker of an all-Thurlow Nunn League game with 4th placed Woodbridge Town drawn at home to 3rd placed Stanway Rovers. The two teams play each other in a league match in Essex two weeks before the tie.

The other four Thurlow Nunn League sides will play opponents from other leagues with Kirkley & Pakefield facing a tricky match at Newport Pagnell Town. The Spartan South Midlands League side are second in their table and knocked out Coggeshall United on Saturday.

League leaders Stowmarket Town are at home to the remaining Essex Senior League side Stansted, who beat Mildenhall Town on Saturday, while FC Clacton entertain Eynesbury Rovers, mid-table in the Spartan South Midlands League.

In the other tie featuring Thurlow Nunn League sides White Ensign or Wroxham will be at home to Wellingborough Town from the United Counties League. Wroxham were winning 3-0 at White Ensign in their second round tie on Sunday when the floodlights went out and the match is being replayed at Trafford Park on Wednesday.

Third Round Proper ties are scheduled for 30th November.
